The National Examinations Board (NEB) has postponed class XII exams scheduled to be held from August 15 to 25. The NEB had completed all preparations for the exams.

The NEB has however been conducting the class XI exams in the physical presence of students at home centres. Sharma informed that 90 per cent portion of the exams have already been taken.

The next meeting of the Board will decide on when and how the exam will be conducted. The notice in this regard will be issued 15 days before the commencement of exams, according to Sharma.

The MoHP suggested the internal evaluation method of the exam.

Subsequently, the CCMC directed the NEB to postpone the class XII exams.
