A summit on climate change has been held at the base camp of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. The conference was organized by the World Record Society on the occasion of International Everest Day (May 29) at the Everest Base Camp on Sunday.
The conference was held with the participation of American environmental scientists with the aim of drawing the world's attention to the issue of climate change and its mitigation in the current situation, said Sanch Rai, President of the World Record Society. The conference was attended by Joanna Lambert, an environmental scientist from the University of Colorado USA and Joel Berger, a scientist from Colorado State University. He presented a report on the current state, impact and mitigation of climate change in the world. The conference was held at the Everest Base Camp with the participation of environmental scientists to draw the world's attention to the issue of climate change, said coordinator Purna Rai.
