The Central Executive Committee of the Armed Police Family Women's Association has distributed clothes to 140 Dalit families here.
Inspector General of Armed Police Raju Aryal also participated in the program, which was distributed by the Central Executive Committee of the Armed Police Family Women's Association.
Anita Lamichhane Aryal, president of the Armed Police Family Women's Association, said that after it was reported that the residents of the slum did not leave their homes and did not run away, they were drowning in debt and had no homestead.
In the Dalit settlement near Madhyapahari Lok Marg, there is harassment due to the problem of food grains every year. Most of the men of Katigaon have gone to India to earn money from the grain they produce. The number of people taking formal education in the Dalit settlement is also low.
