With the Supreme Court (SC) decision to free from hail, Secretary at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Krishna Bahadur Raut has been allowed to resume his work at the ministry.
A divisional bench of Justice duo, Prakash Dhungana and Nahakul Subedi, allowed Secretary Raut to carry on his job with the decision to investigate the case keeping him in bail. The court however did not allow to go outside the country until the conclusion of the investigation.
'An order has been issued to release Secretary Raut from the jail. Suspension over him has been relaxed. Continuing with his work would not be halted due to investigation on criminal cases over the civil employees', deputy attorney general Sanjeeb Raj Regmi informed.
