According to the Secretariat, the rumor that Nepali Congress central member and MP Dr. Arju Rana Deuba ran away and went to Singapore is baseless.
Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba's personal secretary Bhanu Deuba said, "She is in Kathmandu, the rumors spread on social media are baseless."
Dr. Arju is the wife of Chairman Deuba.
According to personal secretary Deuba, Dr. Arju went to Birgunj yesterday to participate in the wedding ceremony of Congress leader Ajay Chaurasia's son, she returned to Kathmandu yesterday after participating in the opening of a mart in Hetaunda and the role of the provincial government for women empowerment.
A YouTube channel had aired the content of 'Arju went to Singapore from Birganj via India'.
