Counting of votes has also started in Baitadi under the State and House of Representatives Member Election 2022. Chief Electoral Officer Jayanand Paneru said that the counting of votes started today at 4:30 pm.
The counting of votes has started on the second floor of the newly constructed building of the district hospital located at the headquarters. Counting of direct votes for representatives and state assembly has started and then proportional votes will be counted. According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, CC cameras and wire mesh have been arranged at the polling station.
In the elections held on Sunday, 52.22 percent of the total votes cast in Baitadi. Out of 150,156 voters in the district, 78,416 votes were cast. There are 22 people in the election field in Baitadi, which has one constituency for the House of Representatives and two for the Provincial Assembly.
