The rate of coronavirus infection as well as mortality rate from the infection is decreasing in Sudurpaschim Province along with Doti in recent few weeks.

According to the Sudurpaschim Province Health Directorate, Dipayal, Rajpur, out of total test carried out from May 3 to May 10 in the province, 37.2 per cent infection rate was confirmed.

Chief of the Directorate, Dr Gana Raj Awasthi, said that the infection and mortality rate is declining gradually till June 3 since May 3. Now, the mortality rate has been found decreased by 2.15 per cent.

Coronavirus was confirmed in 3,305 people this week while carrying out test of 14,914 as compared to previous three weeks, according to the Directorate.

As per the data of the Directorate, recovery rate has increased in the province. Coronavirus infection and mortality rate has been declining in the province since May 25.

The Directorate claimed that coronavirus infection and mortality rate is decreasing as people are aware about the infection and  have been following the prohibitory order imposed by the government.
