The CPN UML's Secretariat meeting scheduled at Sarre Ambas at Dhangadimai Municipality in Siraha district from today has been rescheduled for coming August 30.
The meeting was postponed due to the incessant rain, said CPN UML district chairperson, Chandeshwor Mandal.
Party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli had flown to Biratnagar this morning to attend the meeting.
"There's a river to cross before reaching the place (Sarre Ambas) where the Secretariat meeting was called. The river has swollen due to incessant rainfall for some days. We decided to postpone the meeting after holding discussion with the party Chair," said Mandal. -----
