Padam Neupane, 51, of Lamjung, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, has died in a jeep accident at Siranchowk Gaonpalika-5, Arubote of Gorkha district on Monday evening.
Neupane is one of the three people who lost their lives in the accident, according to the Traffic Police Office. The District Police Office, Gorkha has stated that the name of Kamal Raj Dani was wrongly mentioned in the information given by the police earlier, which has been corrected.
The Scorpio jeep (Ba 14 Cha 781) carrying a procession from Chitwan to Gorkha had fallen about 200 meters from Phirphire Bhir while returning.
