Nepali Congress Deputy Chairman Purna Bahadur Khadka has said that the Left Democratic Alliance will lead the defense of the Constitution and the prosperity of the country. He, who came to Surkhet today for an election-focused program, told reporters at Surkhet airport that only the now-formed Left Democratic Alliance will lead the defense of Nepal's constitution, which was brought after tireless efforts, and for the prosperity of the country.
Deputy Chairman Khadka said, "Since the current alliance was formed to defeat the attempts to affect the constitution and system by dissolving the parliament two or two times in the past, I urge the common candidate of the alliance to win for the prosperity of the country along with the protection of the constitution and system."
"The coalition has a resolution to make the country well-governed and corruption-free, and win our common candidate to form a strong and stable government after the upcoming elections," he said.
Deputy Chairman Khadka, who is also a candidate for the House of Representatives of Surkhet Region No. 1, said that only the party that has played a leading role in protecting the constitution and establishing the rights of the people in the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections on November 4 will protect the current constitution and system.
Stating that the abundant potential of Karnali can be turned into an opportunity only after the state and central government form a left democratic alliance, he said that he would focus on completing the development and construction work started by them in Surkhet and providing access to all citizens in agriculture, employment, education and health.
On a different occasion, Deputy Chairman Khadka said that there are some technical problems for the expansion of Surkhet Airport and the problems of citizens affected by this should also be understood. He requested not to politicize this matter as other alternative places are also being searched for the expansion of the airport.
