Religious leaders have stated that a movement is necessary to put pressure on Nepal to maintain itself as a Hindu nation. A speaker at the Dharmasabha of the World Hindu Federation held in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Wednesday expressed concern over the forcible secularization of Nepal and said that religious agitation should be carried out.

The Central President of the Federation, Dr. Ram Chandra Adhikari, said that the agitation for the Hindu Nation should start from Chitwan. “Our movement should now move forward with the Hare Ram Hare Krishna hymn,” he said.” This movement should start from Chitwan and shake entire Mechi-Mahakali.” Stating that a strong movement should be made now to make the country a Hindu state, Chairman Adhikari stressed the need to move forward for religious unity and identity by uniting all the Omkar families.

He said that there was no dispute in the federation and the central committee has remained the same but the dispute in the international committee of the federation has moved forward on the path of resolution.

General Secretary of the Federation, Ganesh Prasad Neupane, pointed out the need for all to unite for the protection of religion. “Nepal was removed from the Hindu state for the sake of the parties,” he said. General Secretary Neupane stressed the need for Nepal to be a Hindu state as all religions are treated equally within the Vedic Sanatan Dharma.

FNCCI Secretary Netranath Poudel said that all the members of the Omkar family should take initiative to make Nepal a Hindu nation. He said that Nepal could be made a Hindu state on the initiative of all members of the Omkar family.
