The newly elected chief of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis Gopal Hamal has said that the time for the meeting has been set in the morning instead of office hours as he will be busy with office work as the end of the fiscal year is approaching. He has requested all those who want to meet him to be present from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the mayor’s office.

After his reinstatement, he is working to resolve the road dispute in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city through regional urban development. The meeting with the stakeholders also decided to fill the potholes in the main traffic intersection of Dhangadhi and the potholes in the road from the intersection to Kailali Bridge.

He has started a campaign saying that we will build Dhangadhi. An agreement has been signed with the Nepal Private Hospitals Association to provide free OPD services to senior citizens above 70 years of age and a 10 per cent concession in diagnosis and testing and bed charges. The municipality will soon provide identity cards to the senior citizens to make the service systematic.

In Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan area, the sanitation workers have been instructed to manage the sanitation and the municipal police have been instructed to remove the construction materials placed on the roads.

He has kindly requested the people of Dhangadhi and the organizations to help in creating a conducive working environment for the people without getting involved in inaugurations, meetings, seminars, receptions, honours programs etc.
