Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has decided to recommend Dr Din Mani Pokhrel as Attorney General.
There is a constitutional provision that the Attorney General is appointed by the President on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. Pokharel is scheduled to be sworn in by the President at Shital residence today.
Pokharel, who is an expert in constitutional law, has argued in Supreme Court for the dissolution of the House of Representatives during for Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli''s run.
