LAMJUNG: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has stated that the government is focused on revitalizing the economy, which has been facing challenges.
In his address at an inauguration of industrial festival organized by the Lamjung Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sundarbazar unit, at Sundarbazar municipality-7 in Lamjung, Minister Gurung, who also serves as the government spokesperson, said that improving the national economy is a top priority of the government. The Minister underscored the need to explore income opportunities through the enhancement of local products, trade, and enterprises. He also noted that the government has revised 11 laws related to the economy through ordinances.
Furthermore, Minister Gurung shared that the coalition government, formed between the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML), aims to improving the economy and establishing good governance.
He reassured that the alliance between the two major political parties will continue for the next three years.
