Election office placed for presidential election

The election officer's office is being established for the presidential election.

Thakur Prasad Bhattarai, Chief Election Officer of the District Election Office, Kathmandu informed that the Election Commission is going to set up the polling officer's office in the Federal Parliament building today.

Officials of the Election Commission will also be present at the office inauguration program to be held today at 1 pm.

Patan High Court Judge Mahesh Sharma Paudel has been appointed as the polling officer for the election to be held on 9 March. The polling place has been assigned to the Federal Parliament building complex in New Baneshwor.

According to the schedule issued by the commission, the list of voters is ready to be published on this Wednesday.
