A large python found in Kanchanrup Municipality-10 Badgama of Saptari has been rescued today. The python was rescued from the house of local Dambar Khadga Yadav.
Ramdev Choudhary, head of the forest office, said that the team from the sub-divisional forest office rescued the endangered python, which is approximately six to seven feet long. He said that the python weighing about 10 kg was rescued and released into the water of the Kosi River at the Kosi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. Nepal Army, Nepal Police and local villagers were also involved in the rescue.
