Exercises to control fires in Kapilvastu

Exercise training has been provided to the locals to control fires in Ajammari Community Forest in Shivaraj Municipality-9 of Kapilvastu.

With the help of the Third Pole Conservation, the Rare Species Fund and the Clouded Leopard Conservation Group, fire control measures and other necessary materials to control fires have been handed over to the locals in Shivaraj Municipality-9 of Kapilvastu.

Handing over the materials, Dadhilal Kandel, chief of the Division Forest Office, Gautambad, said that the locals should be vigilant to stop fires.

The office has also urged to be vigilant as there is a high risk of fires in the summer.

The office has also called on the locals to collect leaves and burn them, and keep the fire under control by keeping the people under control. "We have provided information on how fires can be started and how they can be controlled," he said.

Gangaram Regmi, director of the Third Pole Conservation, said that fire-resistant jumpsuit, water spray, helmet, sweater and other materials worth Rs 1.5 lakh were distributed to the community forest.

Sukmaya BK, chairperson of the Ajmamari Community Forest Group, said that it would be easier to control the fire if they were trained to control it. It has been stated that fire-resistant materials will come in hand. The fire control exercise was facilitated by Assistant Forest Officers Sanjay Mishra, Ganesh Chaudhary and Ganesh Puri.
