The Cyber Bureau of Police has arrested the person who hacked the social networking site Facebook and cheated money with friends, relatives and colleagues connected to profile.
The arrested person is 20-year-old Kiran Pathak of Shanishare Municipality-10 of Morang and the investigation has been started against him for the offense under the Electronic Transactions Act 2063 today with an extension of five days, the bureau said.
Police Superintendent of the Bureau Pashupati Kumar Rai informed that he was found to have cheated more than 15 people through various digital payment gateways.
