World-renowned Turkish actor Unginaltan Dujyatan (Ertugrul Ghazi), who arrived in Kathmandu on Monday at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, has arrived in Pokhara today.

 He was welcomed at Pokhara Airport by officials of Pokhara Tourism Council, Nepal Tours and Travels Association Nepal (NATA), tourism businessmen and admirers of Islam. According to Jainav Khatun, Assistant Press Coordinator to Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale, Dujyatan has arrived in Nepal at the invitation of the Ministry with the aim of promoting Nepal's tourism sector, which has become weak after Corona, and attracting Turkish tourists to Nepal.

 According to him, the artist will participate in a program to be organized in Mianpatan, Pokhara-13 on the occasion of Dujyatan Eid. During his two-day stay in Pokhara, he is scheduled to visit the tourist destinations of Fewatal, Begnastal and Sarangkot. Chairman of Pokhara Tourism Council Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai said that the arrival of world famous actor would contribute to the promotion of tourism here.

 He said, “Tourists from Turkey and the Middle East come here for adventure activities including mountaineering. We believe that the arrival of the famous artist will further help in the promotion of tourism in Corona, which has been booming in recent times. " Dujyatan has played the lead role in the telefilm 'Ertugrul Gazi' based on an 800-year-old political event in Turkey, which made him famous all over the world. The film has also been translated into many languages ​​of the world.
