Five billion budget allocated to Parsa

The federal government has allocated a budget of Rs. 5.10 billion for Parsa.

In this district which has one metropolis, three municipalities and 10 village municipalities, the highest allocation of Rs. 1.44 billion has been made in Birgunj metropolis and the lowest allocation of Rs. 21 Crore.

Out of which, Rs. 1.64 billion has been allocated to three municipalities and Rs. 2.64 billion to ten village municipalities. Out of the allocated budget, Rs. 333.2 million has been allocated to Pokhariya, Rs. 314.7 million to Parsagadhi and Rs. 358.5 million to Bahudarmai.

Similarly, Rs. 283.5 million to Chhipaharmai village council, Rs. 288.9 million to Jagarnathpur, Rs. 221.2 million to Dhobini, Rs. 283 million to Paterwasugauli, and Rs. 244 million to Vindhyavasini. A budget of Rs. 222.9 million has been allocated for Kalikamai and Rs. 253.5 million for Jira Bhavani village municipality.

Similarly, Birgunj Metropolitan City has received Rs. 20 million, Jagarnathpur Municipality Rs. 14.4 million, Paterwasugauli Municipality Rs. 20 million, Thori Municipality Rs. 28.5 million and Jira Bhavani Municipality has been allocated Rs. 1 crore. Nine local levels have not received special grants.
