Police have arrested four people from Tikligarh in Lamahi Municipality-3 on Friday night in possession of illegally acquired tiger skin.
Among the arrested are Dhansari Reshmi Thapa, 42, of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolis-13, her husband Shankar, 45, Khemraj Giri, a resident of Lamahi Municipality-1, Gir Bahadur BK, 63, of Narti and Asha Kumar Chaudhary, 28.
A police team from the State Police Office, Lumbini, and Ward Police Office, Lamahi Dang searched the room and arrested the suspects after they received information of the ongoing tiger skin trade.
The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
