Shutdown enforcers in Chitwan district have vandalised four trucks in course of the general strike announced for today.
The Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party has called for ‘Nepal Bandh’ today.
According to Chitwan District Police Office (DPO), two trucks en route from Kathmandu to Narayangarh and a truck heading to Pokhara from Birgunj were vandalised at Bhateri in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 by the motorcycle-borne bandh enforcers.
The vandalised trucks are with the registration numbers (Na 3 Kha 393, Na 1 Ka 435 and Na 8 Kha 4480), police said.
Likewise, police said that a loaded truck (Na 4 Kha 8855) en route from Tandi to Narayangarh was also vandalised by protesters at Milan Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolis-12.
