Police arrested four youths with controlled drugs from Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan-4 in Makawanpur district on Monday morning.

The arrested have been identified as Bibek Neupane (23) and AD Chaudhary (19), both residents of Hetauda-10 in the district and Suraj Lama (20), a local resident of Namobuddha Municipality in Kavre district. Police also arrested Bishal Kumar Waiba (23), a local resident of Marin Rural Municipality in Sindhuli district.

The accused had 150 tablets of nitravet in their possession.

Acting on a tip-off, Bhutandevi-based Police Office personnel nabbed them with the pharmaceutical drugs.

Meanwhile, a youth was arrested from Chipledhungha in Pokhara Metropolitan-4 in Kaski district on Monday morning.

The youth has been identified as Jiban Thapa (22), a local resident of Gagangauda in the same metropolitan.

Thapa had pharmaceuticals drugs like four ampules of nurfin, phenergan, and diazepam.

Further investigation into the cases is underway, informed the police.
