The government has decided to grant a public holiday for Tamu Lhosar on January 30. An earlier cabinet meeting had decided to dismiss him.
However, Home Ministry spokesperson Pradip Koirala said that false information was circulating on social media that a public holiday would take place even before the decision was taken. He said the decision was taken only at a recent cabinet meeting.
