Govt will be made successful: UM Chair Oli

Former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has asserted that the incumbent government formed in support of his party would be made successful.

At an orientation programme organized by the party's Department of Parliamentary Affairs to orient the participants about parliamentary practices here today, Chairperson Oli reiterated that the incumbent government would be made successful in political, policy-making and practice.

"We would like to make this government successful," the septuagenarian leader said, adding that they will properly guide the government. He wished the incumbent government functioned actively by adopting the right policies, did not involve in corruption and ensured good-governance and development in the country.

Oli assured that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will obtain vote of confidence in the parliament on January 10.

Chairperson Oli directed lawmakers to enter the parliament building timely on the day when PM Dahal is scheduled to take the vote of confidence.

He, also the UML Parliamentary Party leader, said they would not let the efforts of some external elements to topple the incumbent government.

The government would move ahead by maintaining cordial and mutual relations with neighbouring countries. "We do not want foreign interference." He also urged lawmakers to raise their voice against problems facing people as they he said they were elected for the same.
