The National Examination Board has decided not to implement Letter Grading Guidelines, 2078 in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) this time.

If the guidelines were implemented, students who scored less than 35 percent would fail.

However, due to the second wave of COVID -19, teaching is not regular and the alternative learning system is also not effective. According to the board meeting held on Tuesday, it has been decided that Non-Graded system will not be implemented this year.

This has opened possibilities for the students to select the grade 11 course despite the GPA they have scored. However, there is still some confusion regarding the grade 11 admission criteria.

Until the further notice from NEB regarding Admission criteria, students can follow last year’s guidelines. Here is the admission criteria from last year.
