Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Balendra Shah (Balen) has welcomed the guests who came to observe Indrajatra.
The Metropolitan Municipality organised a welcome program in their honour.
20 guests representing 5 cities of 3 countries and one organisation have come to Kathmandu to observe the Indra Jatra at the invitation of the Metropolitan Corporation. Similarly, representatives from cities with internal sister relations have come along with the chiefs.
They will observe the Kumari Rath Yatra which starts today.
Tomorrow there will be a visit to the Bhaktapur Palace area. After that, there will be a visit to the art gallery. The guests will be invited to participate in the original and traditional exhibition that will be organised tomorrow in Handigaon. After the sightseeing tour of Swayambhu, guests will be provided with time to visit the Nepali market
