Hem Bahadur Malla Award goes to Das

The Hem Bahadur Malla Honour (Award) for 2075 BS is to be conferred on senior chest physician Dr. Gauri Shankar Lal Das. 

The Award, carrying a purse of Rs 200 thousand and Letter of Commendation, is to be presented to Dr. Das in recognition of the unparalleled contribution to the medical and social sectors, the Salt Trading Corporation (STC) announced in a news conference it organized on Friday, January 8, 2021. 

The STC had instituted this Award in 2059 BS to the memory of its first Chairman Hem Bahadur Malla. The Management Association of Nepal (MAN) coordinates the Award.
