 Chairman of Press Council Nepal Balkrishna Basnet said that if you work without greed, you will get success in all fields.He has asked everyone to give up the comment that nothing will happen.

Chairman Basnet said that by abandoning negativity, taking creative initiatives for success will bring effective results.He has given examples of 3 successful projects through social media. ‘These 3 projects show that working without greed and dedication is effective and successful – Sunkoshi Marine Diversion, Nagadhunga Tunnel Road and Mid-Hill Folk Marg.’Chairman Basnet also suggested to abandon the wrong comments raised in the public mind. He mentioned that not only these 3 projects but also other examples and those projects will have a special place in the development of the country.

The council has been debating creative journalism as a campaign for a few months saying that it has been wrongly established in the entire society due to the misrepresentation of the media.It was decided by the council from the board meeting that future journalism should be solution-oriented and creative and make it nationwide.

The council has started such a campaign to stop the abuse seen on social media including YouTube. Recently, the Press Council has been taking strict legal action against the media, including YouTube, for spreading unilateral, baseless and false information.
