Police have recovered illegal plants from Makalu Rural Municipality-3 North-South Koshi Highway of Sankhuwasabha. According to Police Inspector Shubhesh Adhikari of the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, the Area Police Office, Hedangna, has recovered illegal herbs 'dhupi' and 'pakhanbed' along with a tractor (Na 7 Ta 5621) being brought to Khandbari from Chyamtang of Bhotkhola Municipality.
According to the Inspector General of Police, eight bags of Dhupi and three bags of Pakhanbed were recovered from Makalu-3 of Makalu Barun National Park. Police have arrested tractor driver Anil Darji of Khandbari-3 and handed him over to Makalu Barun National Park for further investigation, said Inspector Adhikari.
