The parliamentary committee has instructed the government to make arrangements so that all schools get textbooks on time in the upcoming academic session. The meeting of the Sustainable Development and Good Governance Committee under the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament on Monday at the Singha Darbar has instructed the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to ensure that textbooks are available for the upcoming academic session.
In the meeting, Herambaraj Kandel, the headmaster of Vishwa Niketan Secondary School, requested the government to arrange for textbooks to be available on time from the next academic session.
Managing Director of Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra Anil Kumar Jha said that they are working to provide textbooks to schools on time.
