Branches of all insurance companies in Kathmandu valley will remain closed from Thursday until further notice.
The insurance companies have been asked by the Beema Samiti to close all their branches except the corporate offices due to the rising number of infections and deaths related to the coronavirus.
Beema Samiti, the insurance sector regulatory authority of the country, has advised the insurance companies to operate their corporate offices with the minimum number of staff possible. The insurance companies have also been asked to follow all the necessary health safety measures.
