Chief of Karnali Province Govinda Prasad Kalauni has said a culture of respecting labourers and encouraging farmers needs to be developed in the country. He also wished farmers across the country the best on the occasion of 18th National Paddy Day.
On the occasion, Kalauni also mentioned that the country can be made self-reliant in the production of rice but for that there needs to be proper respect of the farmers and the labour that they put in to produce various agricultural products.
He also said that the government had marked Asadh 15 as the National Paddy day to honour all the farmers of the country.
