KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has accused certain groups of trying to fragment the Nepali population and stir up chaos and communal animosity under different pretenses.
During the convocation ceremony of the Armed Police Force in Kathmandu today, he emphasized that lawless behavior will not be tolerated.
"We will not permit disorderly and illegal actions to prevail," he declared."
He congratulated the police officers for their readiness to participate in the country's peacekeeping operations during natural disasters and other emergencies.
PM Oli also announced that necessary amendments to the law are being prepared to enhance the effectiveness of the armed police force and improve their facilities.
The Prime Minister praised the role of the armed police in securing border areas and urged them to elevate their capabilities and performance.
Forty-five trainees successfully completed their training and are now ready to enter the field.
