CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair and former Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has appealed to all to not engage in any activities capable of jeopardising social harmony and goodwill.

In his address to a press meet organised by the Socialist Press Organisation, Madhesh Province in Janakpur today, leader Nepal expressed his concerns over latest activities capable of disrupting the social harmony and order reported at different parts of the country. He urged one and all to disapprove of such activities.

"Incidents aiming to provoke social, communal and political unrest to disturb social harmony have been reported lately in Dharan, Malangawa of Sarlahi and Nepalgunj," he said, adding the party was worried about such developments which are against the Constitution.

The leader who arrived at Janakpurdham today to attend the 'Socialist Awareness Campaign-2080 BS' launched by the party was of the opinion that all should work with integrity to enforce the Constitutional provisions.

On a different note, he said the government without the presence of Nepali Congress is unimaginable at the moment, he claimed the incumbent government is committed to meeting mandates assigned to it.

The party's Socialist Awareness Campaign that kicked off from Mechinagar of Jhapa on October 1 with the theme of 'employment, prosperity and governance' will conclude on October 16 upon reaching Kanchanpur. ---
