Voting in Gorkha was completed peacefully. But compared to the last election, this time the number of votes has decreased.
According to the District Election Office, a total of 65.3 percent of votes were cast in the last House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections. But this time, it is estimated that about 45 to 50 percent only, as reported by the Chief Electoral Officer.
A total of 220,637 voters were registered in the district for this election.
