KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that westerly and local winds are currently impacting the country’s weather. As a result, the hilly regions are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country remains clear.

According to the Division, the hilly areas will continue to see partly cloudy skies on Wednesday afternoon. There is also a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two locations within the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Additionally, light snowfall may occur in isolated areas of the high hills and mountainous regions.

Similarly, tonight’s forecast predicts partly cloudy weather in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country will experience clear skies.

The Division has urged the public to remain cautious as light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in some hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces over the next 24 hours. Additionally, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in certain high hilly and mountainous areas.
