The Madhesh state government is going to distribute public welfare advertisements to the media. The meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Madhes State Government has approved 'Madhes Pradesh Public Welfare Advertising Management Procedure-2079' and 'Madhes Pradesh Journalist Health and Accident Insurance Procedure-2079'.
The Mass Media Authority Madhes Pradesh under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Communications is going to distribute newspapers, television, radio / FM and online media from all the eight districts of the state in the form of public interest advertisements and information welfare advertisements of the Madhes state government.
Shyam Sundar Yadav, chairman of the Mass Media Authority, Madhes Pradesh, said that an application has been called for listing the media for this purpose and public welfare advertisements will be made available to the media within three to four days after receiving the application.
He said that even though preparations were made for the distribution of public welfare advertisements a few months ago, there was a delay in getting the procedure approved by the Council of Ministers and some time was delayed due to a lack of staff. He said that all preparations have been made for the public welfare advertisement and it will be made available to all media within a few days. Chairman Yadav informed that payment would be provided by the Mass Media Authority as prescribed in the working procedure for publishing and broadcasting such advertisements and information media.
Similarly, after the approval of the Journalist Health and Accident Insurance Procedure, the way has been opened for the journalists who have been working as journalists to benefit from the insurance program. Provision has been made in the procedure for the journalists participating in the insurance to get medical treatment up to Rs. One lakh once a year and to get accident insurance up to Rs. Seven lakh.
