One person attempted self-immolation in Kahunkhola, Pokhara-13. A man tried to commit suicide today by lighting his body on fire. A woman who rushed to save him was also injured.

Subas Timilsina, Information Officer of District Police Office Kaski informed that both of them were rescued this afternoon while they were burning.

“When the landlord saw the burning house of the man she was renting to, she was also burnt and injured. Both of them are being treated at Gandaki Hospital,” he said

He informed that the police have started an investigation into what caused the incident.
