The deceased has been identified as Jit Bahadur Gole, 65, of Raksirang Village Municipality-8.
According to Tek Bahadur Karki, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Gole was seriously injured in a lightning strike. He died on the way to Hetauda for treatment.
Thulimaya Rumba, 62, of Indrasarovar Village Municipality-2 has been injured in the lightning strike as well. Karki informed that she is undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital in Lalitpur.
