Police on Friday arrested a man in possession of 1.9 kilograms of marijuana in Chaudandigadhi Municipality-9 of  Udayapur district.

The arrested has been identified as Tilak Chaudhary (55) of Ajagadha in Chaudandigadhi-9.

Acting on the tip-off, a team of security personnel deployed from Area Police Office, Beltar raided Chaudhary’s residence and seized the illegal drug. 

Meanwhile, investigation into the cases is underway said police.
