The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested a man with 5.7 kg of opium from Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-2 in Makawanpur district.

The arrested has been identified as Ratna Bhulan (43) of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-5 in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, Koteshwor-based Narcotics Control Bureau officials nabbed Bhulan with the substance during a routine check. He had been hiding the opium in a bag.

Bhulan has been handed over to District Police Office for necessary action, informed NCB.
