Police arrested a man with 70 grams of heroin from Shailyeshor Municipality-9 in Darchula district.

The arrested has been identified as Maheshraj Bista (36), a local resident of the same municipality in the district and also the owner of a chicken store. 

Security personnel deployed from the Gokuleshwor-based Area Police Office nabbed him with the substance while searching his store after suspicious activities were reported.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
