Respecting the efforts of all the candidates in the recently concluded election, Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) of Kathmandu Municipality City congratulated and wished the best to the elected candidates.
According to Mayor Shah, the identification, and sustainable solutions of the problems of the Kathmandu metropolis can flow positive energy and examples throughout the country. He clarified that some problems, such as areas of work and rights are interconnected in such a way that it will be difficult to solve them sustainably by the sole efforts of the metropolis. He expressed the need of resources and cooperation of the federal government to solve the problems of river bank management, waste management, Bagmati, Tukucha, Dhobikhola etc.
