Minister Khand expresses concern for treatment

Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand has expressed his concerns in assisting medical treatment to those injured in road accidents in Palpa, Sunsari and Bhaktapur districts.

Talking to the Chief District Officers and chiefs of security agencies in those districts over the telephone on Sunday, Minister Khand instructed the officials to make the treatment of injured ones effective.

Khad also asked the officials to appraise the Ministry if any assistance was needed to take the injured ones to the hospital. The Butwal-bound bus coming from the Gulmi district met with an accident, leaving six dead on the spot and 17 injured on Sunday.

Similarly, he also took cognizance of the incident in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve in Sunsari where one person died and another sustained injury when a tree fell down and crushed a scooter.

Likewise, the Minister also directed the Chief District Officer and the security chiefs in the Bhaktapur district to make arrangements for those injured in Bhaktapur's Sallaghari incident. Three people died and 12 others got injured in a tree felling incident on Sunday.
