A person died in a road accident at Kamal rural municipality in Jhapa district today.
The deceased has been identified as Birendra Sahani, 30, of Kamal rural municipality-3, according to Assistant Sub-Inspector at the District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa, Yam Khadka.
The accident took place when a motorcycle heading towards north from south and another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction collided with each other. Sahani was riding the motorcycle.
Further investigation into the incident was underway, he added. —
The driver died in a motorcycle accident in Khoria Toll of Ishwarpur Municipality of Sarlahi. 29-year-old Vasant Sah of Ishwarpur municipality has been identified as the deceased. He died on the spot, according to the local police office Kesharganj.

Two pillion riders Khum Bahadur Rana, 21, and Ram Bahadur Kumal of Hiring rural municipality-21 were injured in the accident. They have already returned home after receiving treatment at Gandaki Medical College, Pokhara, said Police.
