A father and son have been killed in Siraha's Arna village last night. Chandeshwar Pal, 60, of Mahanaur in Siraha and his 19-year-old son Santa Kumar were killed while they were sleeping at home.
According to the locals, the marriage of Sant Kumar was cut off on May 25 and the two were killed after singing a wedding song in the village. According to him, the song was being played till around 12 o'clock in the night.
According to Subhash Budathoki, Deputy Superintendent of the District Police Office, the incident took place at around 4 in the morning. "The incident has taken place. We are investigating in various ways," he said. "It is not clear who committed the murder and why. We are investigating." Police said they also enlisted the help of a trained dog for the investigation.
