Namche Youth Club defeated Veterans United by 3-1 in the match held on Wednesday at the Sanagoucharan Sports Ground in Kathmandu. Chhiring Paljor Sherpa was declared Man of the Match in Namche Yuva Club's victory.
In the second match, the Amdablam Youth Club was declared the winner by defeating Mahendra Jyoti ex Student Forum in the tie breaker. Pasang Nuru Sherpa was declared the man of the match in the victory of Amadalam Yuva Club.
Tomorrow's match will be a semi-final between Juving Sherpa Kiduk and Thamichowa Football Club. The pre-semi-final will be between Namche Yuva Club and Amadblam Yuva Club.
The 'Khumbu Lhosar Cup' started on Saturday on the occasion of the Sherpa community's New Year and Lhosar festival. This is the 13th edition of the 'Khumbu Lhosar Cup' organized by the Khumjung Youth Club every year. It will be conducted at the playground at Sanagoucharan until Fagun 6th.
