A meeting of the National Assembly is being held today, Tuesday. Appropriation bill passed by the House of Representatives will be tabled in today's meeting at 1 pm.
If there is an agreement between the parties, there will probably be a theoretical discussion on the Appropriation Bill. After the theoretical discussion on the bill, 72 hours amendment time will be given. MPs can amend the budget.
Members of the National Assembly also have the facility to propose spending cuts on the bill. If an MP makes such a proposal, it will also be discussed. After that, the National Assembly will pass the bill and send it back to the House of Representatives. After accepting that, the House of Representatives will send the bill to the President through the Speaker. Only then will the government be able to spend.
