National Inclusion Commission held a meeting stressing on labor

The National Inclusion Commission held a discussion with the trade unions relating to labor on Monday.

During the discussion, Commission Chairman Dr Ramkrishna Timalsina stressed on reviewing the minimum wage to workers with best practices for the development of jurisprudence. All local levels should prepare the statistics relating to labor, he added.

Issuing a press release, the Commission spokesperson Pushkar Bhattarai informed that Commission Chairman that the high court could set up a labor bench by reviewing the jurisdiction of labor court.

Similarly, Commission member Hari Datta Joshi also pointed out the need of implementing the minimum wage fixed by the government. The discussion was attended by the representatives of various trade unions.
